The day after the wedding was so relaxing. There was nothing more to worry about or plan. No one else to entertain. Just time to enjoy. Villa Rolandi brings breakfast to the room through a special door, so as not to disturb you. We had breakfast on the balcony.




Then I spent the morning enjoying the hotel. I went down to the beach and read a book and listened to my ipod under the shade of an umbrella and a palm tree. I went swimming in the ocean, then went up to the huge salt water hot tub for a soak, then a dip in the infinity pool. Then I went back to the room to sit in the hot tub, before enjoying the double shower again. I had a morning full of water experiences. We took a nap and went down for a big lunch at the restaurant (one 3 course meal is included each day of the stay, in addition to breakfast.) We were getting ready to head back to Playa Norte and visit with everybody when there was a knock on the door. Mom, Dad, Hilly and Javier were in the neighborhood and wanted to say hi. I thought it was a bold move to stop by the hotel room of a newly married couple, but I was happy to see them nonetheless.

That night we met up with our friends in the town square and had dinner at a local restaurant that was so small we basically took the place over.


After dinner we finished off what was left of the wedding cake
and went to the beach bar at Cabanas Maria del Mar and sat on the swings and talked.
