The Drive Into Marfa

The drive into Marfa was visually stunning . . In addition to the barren flat vistas, there was an unusual amount of humidity in the air. It rained (the first time in 6 months) and clouds descended, covering the mountain tops and blanketing the sky.












































After about a 7 hour drive, we arrived at the Thunderbird hotel. .
