Pacific Palasades

My first day here began beatifully- I took a walk in the area around Bob and Jocelyn's apartment and marveled at the beautiful mountans and lush greenery.I was also able to fit in a really nice beachside walk before we went to dinner. Unfortunately at this point, it began to rain and didn't let up for the rest of the evening. Aparantly this is very uncommon for california, although this mornings cloud cover seems to indicate that more of the same may be in store.
