As I feared. .

Rain has begun to fall. Luckily I was able to get out and have a breakfast of bagel, cream cheese and salmon and make it back before the rainfall began in earnest. One interesting observation- I had heard that california was really smoggy, and expected the air to be a bit smelly. . On the contrary (and it may just be the season ) Flowers are blooming everywhere and the air smells more like pollen and fresh flowers here than anywhere I have been in recent memory.

Jon Brion is playing at Amoeba Records this afternoon and I'm looking forward to seeing the show. Hopefully it will be indoors and unaffected by the rain. I'm going to try to audioblog from the show. .
